You don’t have to choose the type of massage you want before booking an appointment. Most often, we use a combination of techniques to address your unique concerns at each session. We always have a pre-consult at the beginning of each session to determine your needs.

How often should I receive massage?
In general, we recommend once a month for maintenance. There are some issues/conditions that would benefit with more frequent massages, sometimes until condition subsides or improves.

Before the massage session begins:
If you are a new client, your therapist will go over your Intake Form and discuss concerns/needs of the day. If you are a returning client, your therapist will go over any updates with you and discuss concerns/needs of the day. Your therapist will then leave the room in order for you to get settled on the massage table before re-entering the room to begin your massage.
At the end of your massage session:
Your massage therapist will leave the room while you dress and ready yourself to re-enter the world. You will then have a short post consult, to allow for feedback about the session and to discuss any treatment plan moving forward.

- Exercise--From stretching to strength training, moving your body regularly keeps your muscles more flexible
- Take breaks from sitting--Even if your job is sedentary, get up and move around once per hour (set an alarm, if needed!)
